Update -
We have identified an intermittent DNS resolution issue caused by an unexpected outage in the DNS service used by our backend systems. As a result, you may experience occasional connection disruptions.
Our engineering team is actively working with our DNS provider to determine the root cause and restore full stability as quickly as possible.
In the meantime, if you encounter connection issues, you may contact our Support Center or email us at support@pingcap.com. We can provide the direct IP address as a temporary workaround to bypass DNS resolution.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we work to resolve this issue.

Investigating -
We’re currently investigating an intermittent DNS resolution issue that may affect connectivity to some TiDB Cloud private endpoints. While certain retries may succeed, other attempts will fail leading to inconsistent connections. Our engineering team is working with our DNS provider to identify the root cause and ensure stability. We’ll share an update once we have more information.
A temporary workaround is to switch to public endpoint to connect. Please feel free to raise a ticket or email support@pingcap.com for further help if needed.
